class sknano.core.atoms.charged_atoms.ChargedAtoms(atoms=None, update_item_class=True, **kwargs)

Bases: sknano.core.atoms.atoms.Atoms

An Atoms sub-class for ChargedAtoms.

A container class for ChargedAtom objects.

Parameters:atoms ({None, sequence, ChargedAtoms}, optional) – if not None, then a list of ChargedAtom instance objects or an existing ChargedAtoms instance object.

Attributes

M	Total mass of Atoms.
Natoms	Number of atoms in Atoms.
charges	Return array of ChargedAtom charges.
elements	ndarray of Atom.elements.
fmtstr	Format string.
masses	ndarray of Atom.masss.
q	Return the total net charge of ChargedAtoms.
symbols	ndarray of Atom.symbols.
